The Christ on the cross: When you remove the cross, He is dancing.   After a life-sized portrait of David Bowie had the latter posing as Christ without the cross, Beezy went on to produce two life-sized bronzes of the Dancing Jesus, complete with his signature high heels.    He looks better in high heels than with nails through his feet.    The first performance of Dancing Jesus was during the Infecting the City arts festival in Cape Town; later Beezy himself performed the role for an exhibition in Copenhagen.   Please click a thumbnail for a detailed view:
