At an exhibition at Johannesburg's AVA gallery not long before South Africa's first democratic elections, Beezy was give the theme 'The Exhibitionist' by curator Malcolm Payne. I rocked up in a leopardskin coat and high heels with nothing on underneath, except for the new SA flag painted over my penis and backside to look like tight underpants. During the performance I took off the coat and somebody painted a big X on my back, and I painted another on my chest. I pressed my body up against a piece of paper on the wall, printing the X onto it. It was called A Vote for SA.        Please click a thumbnail for a detailed view:
